Because the industry is creative and tattoos arent frowned upon in a buisness situation many employers want you to hide your tattoos. i guess so you dont stand out more than any other worker.Why are there so many people with tattoos in the fashion %26amp; hair styling industry?
Just a theory, but I'd guess that those in the beauty/fashion industry have (what seems to be) more tattoos because they are creative, artsy people who are exercising their freedom of expression. Because, The industry is all about creativity...Not everyone is going to look 'Professional' in a Creative industry.
Because tattoos are ';in'; these days, they are everywhere, not just in that industry.
Because tatoos and fashion/hairstyles are both a form of self expression. If they are interested in one, chances are they are interested in the other, since they both allow you to express yourself through image.

it's a creative industry. you aren't forced to conform to anything so people can be themselves
